Sebring Regional Airport

Highlands County
Located within 90 miles of six international airports, Sebring’s 1,770-acre facility is equipped with a 5,234’ runway programmed for a 1,472’ extension, plus a full-service FBO. A designated Foreign Trade Zone, Sebring is also host to both aviation and non-aviation tenants: Aviation tenants include sales, maintenance and storage operations, air ambulance and the North American headquarters for assembly, parts, support sales and service for Tecnam US, the world’s largest producer of piston engine aircraft. Non-aviation tenants include medical, international auto racing, agriculture and national manufacturing.

Arcadia Municipal Airport

DeSoto County
Located 44 miles east of Sarasota, the Arcadia Airport accommodates general aviation needs with two runways, the longest at 3,700’. Primarily used for recreational flying, paragliding in particular, the Airport also supports flight and agricultural spray training and is a key visitor resource supporting the community’s annual All-Florida Championship Rodeo.

Avon Park Executive Airport

Highland County
Two intersecting runways—the longest at 5,374’—allow Avon Park to accommodate a range of general aviation and business jet aircraft. Major tenants include two MRO companies, Highlands Aviation and Dumont Aircraft; Florida Aircraft Services is the airport’s FBO.

Avon Park Air Force Range

This 106,000-acre bombing and gunnery range is the primary training range for Homestead Air Reserve Base and is used extensively by all four branches of the U.S. military.

Belle Glade State Municipal Airport

Palm Beach County
Located approximately 38 miles from West Palm Beach, the airport serves the local community’s general aviation needs with one 3,750’ runway. The airport primarily supports crop spraying; its five onsite tenants are aerial spraying application operations. The airport also serves as a resource for recreational flying and hosts an annual open house to promote the importance of aviation.

LaBelle Municipal Airport

Located 28 miles northeast of Fort Myers, the La Belle Airport is equipped with a 5,254’ runway and an FBO. While the facility primarily supports recreational flying, flight training and agricultural spraying, it also serves as a convenient option for corporate and executive travel.

Okeechobee County Airport

Okeechobee County
OBE serves general aviation needs with two intersecting runways, 5,000’ x 100’ and 4,001’ x 75’, and with an Automated Weather Observation Station (AWOS). A hub for recreational flying and an asset for business and executive travel, the airport offers amenities including a restaurant that has become a popular local dining destination. The Airport and the adjacent Okeechobee Commerce Center Industrial Park are significant drivers of growth, contributing  $153 million in economic impact and supporting 894 jobs.

Palm Beach County Glades Airport

Located at the southeastern edge of Lake Okeechobee, three miles from Pahokee, PHK is equipped with a 4,116’ runway to accommodate general aviation aircraft. The Airport is owned by the Palm Beach County Department of Airports, and hosts tenants in 10 T-hangars.

Wauchula Municipal Airport

Hardee County
With a 4,005’ runway, the Wauchula Airport supports general aviation activities including recreational flying as well as business and executive travel. The Airport’s tenants, B&B Aircraft Service, Inc. and Harvest Aviation Services, are aircraft maintenance operations.
